There are countless reasons for us to be upset at any given time in this day and age. We can be worried about making enough money, even keeping our job in this economic climate. Maybe your kid is having trouble with the teacher at school. Your back hurts today. The computer is down. The latest credit card bill is larger than expected. You just got a flat tire, yada, yada, yada.

Every day you have a choice about how you will react to all the outer forces and inner thoughts that influence you.
Every positive thought you have changes your day and your life. Every positive action you take helps you or someone else. When we are grateful for what we have and can tell it or show it to the people we love…..When we can pray to our God and thank Him for our blessings, then God will provide us with even more blessings in abundance.
When you are feeling down about your own life, take a look at the difficulties that others are having (locally and around the world) and pray for them………….Help them if you can.
Pray to be more positive, more loving, more patient, more giving, especially to the people you’re closest to. They are the ones you spend the most time with and are most likely to take for granted. They see you, warts and all, and are more likely to accept you, but it’s always better to be delightful with them.
And, if you don’t know how to do this yet, learn how to forgive. Jesus did it, he even forgave the people who killed him. Surely we can forgive the smaller, petty things in our lives. Enjoy the simpler things in life: a delicious cup of coffee, the purring of your cat seated contentedly in your lap, the smell of the air after the big storm, the feel of clean sheets on your bed, family time with your husband and son on the couch at night, sleeping in on that rare occasion, the sound of a beautiful voice singing a transcendent song.
You can do more than you think you can, because when you think you can, you can do more!
Believe in yourself, God doesn’t make junk. Everyone, every thing has a purpose in God’s plan.
Words of encouragement will only take you so far, now you must use their motivation and inspiration to take action!
